Fernando Cordas is a renowned classical guitarist and composer who has made a significant contribution to the world of music. Born in Lisbon, Portugal, in 1975, Cordas showed an early interest in music and began playing the guitar at the age of six. He was inspired by his father, who was also a guitarist, and his mother, who was a pianist. Cordas received his formal music education at the Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa, where he studied under the guidance of renowned guitarists such as Paulo Valente Pereira and Dejan Ivanovic. He also attended masterclasses with some of the world's leading guitarists, including Manuel Barrueco, David Russell, and Pepe Romero. Cordas' talent and dedication to music were evident from an early age, and he quickly established himself as a rising star in the classical music world. He won his first international competition at the age of 16, when he was awarded first prize at the International Guitar Competition in Vila de Capdepera, Spain.
