Marlière's career continued to flourish throughout his twenties, and he quickly became known as one of the most talented pianists of his generation. He won numerous awards and accolades for his performances, including the prestigious International Piano Competition in Geneva in 1998. Marlière's performances were characterized by his technical brilliance and his ability to convey the emotional depth of the music he played. He was particularly renowned for his interpretations of the works of Chopin, Beethoven, and Mozart, and his performances of these composers' works were widely regarded as some of the best in the world. In addition to his solo performances, Marlière was also a sought-after chamber musician, and he frequently collaborated with some of the most respected musicians in the world. Marlière's career continued to flourish throughout his thirties, and he continued to perform in some of the most prestigious concert halls in the world. He also began to focus more on teaching, and he became a professor of piano at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris in 2008. Despite his success, Marlière remained humble and dedicated to his craft. He continued to practice for hours every day, and he was always looking for ways to improve his technique and interpretation. Tragically, Marlière's career was cut short when he was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer in 2012. Despite undergoing extensive treatment, he passed away in 2014 at the age of 39.
