Annika Lõhmus is a renowned classical music artist from Estonia. She was born on August 22, 1985, in Tallinn, Estonia. From a young age, Annika showed a keen interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. Her parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. Annika attended the Tallinn Music High School, where she received a comprehensive education in music theory, history, and performance. She continued her studies at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, where she earned a Bachelor's degree in piano performance. Annika then went on to pursue a Master's degree in piano performance at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, Finland. Throughout her education, Annika received numerous awards and accolades for her exceptional talent and dedication to music. In 2005, she won first prize in the Estonian National Piano Competition, and in 2007, she was awarded the Grand Prix at the International Piano Competition in Tallinn. Annika's talent and hard work also earned her a scholarship from the Estonian Cultural Foundation, which allowed her to continue her studies abroad. After completing her Master's degree, Annika began performing professionally as a soloist and chamber musician. She has performed in numerous concerts and festivals throughout Europe, including the Helsinki Music Centre, the Tallinn Chamber Music Festival, and the Pärnu Music Festival. Annika has also collaborated with many renowned musicians, including violinist Triin Ruubel and cellist Andreas Lend.
