Frommermann is a classical music ensemble that was founded in 2005 in Amsterdam, Netherlands. The ensemble is named after Max Frommermann, a German-Jewish musician who was a pioneer of the close harmony style of singing in the 1920s and 1930s. The founding members of Frommermann were Jan-Willem Schaafsma, Erik Slik, Jan Willem Baljet, Mattijs van de Woerd, Harry-Imre Dijkstra, and Andrew Wise. All of the members were trained in classical music and had a passion for exploring different genres and styles of music. Frommermann's repertoire includes a wide range of music, from classical to pop, jazz, and cabaret.
