Rob Frankenberry was born on May 15, 1985, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He grew up in a musical family, with both of his parents being professional musicians. His father was a classical pianist, and his mother was a soprano singer. From a young age, Frankenberry was exposed to classical music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Frankenberry's talent for music was evident from an early age, and he began performing in public at the age of six. He quickly gained a reputation as a prodigy, and by the time he was a teenager, he was performing regularly in concerts and recitals. In 2003, Frankenberry was accepted into the Juilliard School in New York City, one of the most prestigious music schools in the world. He studied under some of the most renowned piano teachers in the world, including Emanuel Ax and Yoheved Kaplinsky. During his time at Juilliard, Frankenberry won numerous awards and competitions, including the Juilliard Concerto Competition and the Gina Bachauer Piano Competition. He also performed in some of the most prestigious concert halls in the world, including Carnegie Hall and the Lincoln Center. After graduating from Juilliard in 2007, Frankenberry began a successful career as a concert pianist. He has performed with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the New York Philharmonic, the Boston Symphony Orchestra, and the London Symphony Orchestra. Frankenberry is known for his virtuosic playing and his ability to bring out the emotional depth of the music he performs. He has a particular affinity for the music of Beethoven, Chopin, and Rachmaninoff, and has recorded several critically acclaimed albums of their works. In addition to his career as a concert pianist, Frankenberry is also a dedicated teacher. He has taught at several music schools and universities, including the Manhattan School of Music and the University of Michigan.
