The Radio Sofia Chamber Orchestra Simfonieta is a renowned classical music ensemble based in Sofia, Bulgaria. The orchestra was founded in 1951 as part of the Bulgarian National Radio and has since become one of the most respected and celebrated orchestras in the country. The founding members of the Simfonieta were a group of talented musicians who were passionate about classical music and wanted to create an ensemble that would showcase their skills and bring classical music to a wider audience. Over the years, the orchestra has grown in size and reputation, attracting some of the most talented musicians in Bulgaria and beyond. The Simfonieta has been led by a number of distinguished conductors over the years, including Vassil Stefanov, Emil Tabakov, and Rossen Milanov. The orchestra has performed extensively both in Bulgaria and abroad, touring throughout Europe, Asia, and the Americas.
