Bengt Forsberg, the pianist of the trio, was born in Stockholm in 1952. He began playing the piano at the age of six and went on to study at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm and the Juilliard School in New York. Forsberg has performed as a soloist with many orchestras, including the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra and the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra. The Stockholm Arts Trio has performed at many prestigious venues around the world, including the Wigmore Hall in London, the Konzerthaus in Vienna, and the Lincoln Center in New York.
