Ensemble Vintage Köln is a classical music ensemble based in Cologne, Germany. The ensemble was founded in 2006 by a group of musicians who shared a passion for historically informed performance practice. The founding members of the ensemble were Verena Fischer (flute), Anne Schumann (violin), Andreas Fischer (cello), and Martin Schmeding (harpsichord). The ensemble's focus is on performing music from the Baroque and Classical periods on period instruments. They are known for their lively and engaging performances, which showcase the unique qualities of historical instruments and performance practices. Ensemble Vintage Köln has performed at major music festivals and concert halls throughout Europe, including the Rheingau Musik Festival, the Bachfest Leipzig, and the Konzerthaus Berlin.
