Eric Trudel is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant impact in the world of music. Born on May 12, 1978, in Montreal, Canada, Trudel showed an early interest in music and began playing the saxophone at the age of 10. He was raised in a family of musicians, and his father was a jazz pianist, which influenced his musical journey. Trudel's passion for music continued to grow, and he pursued his studies in music at the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal. He later went on to study at the Manhattan School of Music in New York City, where he earned a Master's degree in Jazz Performance. During his time in New York, Trudel had the opportunity to study with some of the most renowned saxophonists in the world, including Joe Lovano and George Garzone. Trudel's career as a classical music artist began to take shape when he joined the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal in 2001. He quickly established himself as a talented saxophonist and was soon performing as a soloist with the orchestra. Trudel's performances were well-received, and he quickly gained a reputation as one of the most talented saxophonists in the world. In addition to his work with the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal, Trudel has also performed with other renowned orchestras, including the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, the National Arts Centre Orchestra, and the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra. He has also performed at some of the most prestigious music festivals in the world, including the Montreal International Jazz Festival, the Ottawa International Jazz Festival, and the Newport Jazz Festival. Trudel's talent as a classical music artist has also led him to collaborate with some of the most renowned musicians in the world. He has worked with jazz legends such as Dave Brubeck, Paquito D'Rivera, and Oliver Jones, as well as classical music artists such as Yo-Yo Ma and James Ehnes.
