His parents, who were both music enthusiasts, encouraged him to pursue his passion for music, and he began taking formal lessons at the age of seven. He won his first piano competition at the age of nine and went on to win several more competitions throughout his childhood and teenage years. During his time at the Conservatoire de Paris, Hardy honed his skills and developed his unique style of playing. His dedication paid off, and he graduated with top honors from the Conservatoire de Paris at the age of 21. After graduating, Hardy began performing professionally, and he quickly gained a reputation as one of the most talented young pianists in the world. He made his debut performance at the prestigious Carnegie Hall in New York City in 2007, where he received a standing ovation from the audience.
