The Magdeburger Chamber Choir is a renowned classical music ensemble that has been captivating audiences with its exceptional performances for over three decades. Founded in 1989, the choir has become a prominent fixture in the German music scene, known for its impeccable musicianship and innovative programming. The choir was founded by conductor and composer, Ekkehard Klemm, who had a vision of creating a chamber choir that would specialize in performing a wide range of choral music, from the Renaissance to contemporary works. Klemm, who had previously conducted the Magdeburg Cathedral Choir, assembled a group of talented singers from the region, and the Magdeburger Chamber Choir was born. The choir's early years were marked by a series of successful performances, which quickly established its reputation as one of the finest chamber choirs in Germany.
