In 1990, Linda was invited to join the Boston Symphony Orchestra as their principal flutist, a position she held for over 20 years. Linda's performances with the Boston Symphony Orchestra were widely acclaimed, and she received numerous awards and accolades for her work. In 1995, she was awarded the Avery Fisher Career Grant, which recognizes outstanding young musicians who show exceptional promise for a significant career in music. She was also a recipient of the National Endowment for the Arts Solo Recitalist Fellowship, which provided her with the opportunity to perform solo recitals throughout the United States.
