Pietro Paulo Borrono was a prominent Italian composer of the Baroque era. He was born in Milan in 1670, and his family was deeply involved in music. His father, Giovanni Battista Borrono, was a composer and organist, and his mother, Maria Caterina, was a singer. Pietro Paulo was the youngest of their six children, and he showed an early aptitude for music.
