Simeon Shterev is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant contribution to the world of music. Born on December 22, 1975, in Sofia, Bulgaria, Shterev showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. His parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue his passion for music. Shterev's musical education began at the National School of Music "Lyubomir Pipkov" in Sofia, where he studied piano under the guidance of Professor Stella Dimitrova. In 1996, he won first prize at the International Piano Competition "Young Virtuosos" in Sofia, Bulgaria. In 1998, he won first prize at the International Piano Competition "Citta di Marsala" in Marsala, Italy. After completing his studies, Shterev began his professional career as a concert pianist. He has performed in numerous countries, including Bulgaria, Italy, Germany, France, Spain, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Canada. He has performed in prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall in New York, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Berlin Philharmonic Hall. Shterev has collaborated with many renowned conductors and orchestras, including the Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra, the National Symphony Orchestra of Bulgaria, the Berlin Symphony Orchestra, the London Symphony Orchestra, and the New York Philharmonic Orchestra. He has also performed with many famous soloists, including violinist Maxim Vengerov and cellist Yo-Yo Ma. One of Shterev's most significant performances was his debut at Carnegie Hall in 2002.
