Role:ConductorPietro Mianiti was born on May 12, 1985, in Milan, Italy. He grew up in a family of musicians, with his father being a renowned pianist and his mother a violinist. From a young age, Pietro showed a keen interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Pietro's parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue a career in music. He began taking piano lessons with his father and quickly developed his skills. By the age of ten, Pietro had already won several local piano competitions and was gaining recognition as a prodigious young talent. In 1997, Pietro was accepted into the prestigious Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi in Milan, where he studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and teacher, Carlo Bruno. During his time at the conservatory, Pietro honed his skills and developed a deep understanding of classical music. In 2003, Pietro graduated from the conservatory with top honors and was awarded a scholarship to study at the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome. There, he studied under the tutelage of legendary pianist and conductor, Antonio Pappano. During his time in Rome, Pietro gained valuable experience performing in some of the city's most prestigious concert halls, including the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma and the Auditorium Parco della Musica. He also had the opportunity to work with some of the world's most renowned conductors, including Riccardo Muti and Daniel Barenboim. In 2007, Pietro made his debut as a soloist with the Orchestra dell'Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, performing Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5. The performance was a resounding success, and Pietro was praised for his technical skill and musicality. Over the next few years, Pietro continued to perform as a soloist with orchestras throughout Italy and Europe. He also began to gain recognition as a chamber musician, performing with some of the world's most renowned ensembles, including the Tokyo String Quartet and the Emerson String Quartet. In 2012, Pietro was awarded the prestigious Premio Abbiati, Italy's highest honor for classical musicians. The award recognized his outstanding contributions to the world of classical music and cemented his status as one of Italy's most talented pianists. In addition to his performing career, Pietro is also a dedicated teacher and mentor. He has taught masterclasses at some of the world's most prestigious music schools, including the Juilliard School in New York and the Royal Academy of Music in London. Today, Pietro continues to perform as a soloist and chamber musician, captivating audiences with his technical skill and musicality.
