Novus Brass Quartet is a classical music ensemble that was founded in 2012 in New York City. The quartet is made up of four talented musicians who are passionate about brass music and have dedicated their lives to mastering their craft. The members of the quartet are Alex Dubrovsky (trumpet), Yoni Kahn (trumpet), Nathan Botts (horn), and Kenichi Kuroki (trombone). The quartet was founded with the goal of exploring the rich and diverse repertoire of brass music, from classical to contemporary, and bringing it to audiences around the world. The members of the quartet have a deep appreciation for the beauty and complexity of brass music, and they are committed to sharing their love of this art form with others. Since its founding, Novus Brass Quartet has performed at some of the most prestigious venues in the world, including Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, and the Kennedy Center. The quartet has also been featured on numerous radio and television programs, including NPR's "Performance Today" and WQXR's "The Greene Space." One of the highlights of the quartet's career was their performance at the 2014 International Trumpet Guild Conference in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania. The quartet was selected to perform as part of the conference's "New Works Recital," which featured new compositions for brass ensembles. Novus Brass Quartet's performance was met with critical acclaim, and they were praised for their technical skill and musicality. In addition to their performances, Novus Brass Quartet is also committed to education and outreach.
