Teodora Miteva is a Bulgarian classical pianist who has gained international recognition for her exceptional talent and musicality. Born on May 5, 1991, in Sofia, Bulgaria, Teodora showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of five. Her parents, both music lovers, recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. Teodora's early musical education was at the National School of Music "Lyubomir Pipkov" in Sofia, where she studied with renowned Bulgarian pianist and pedagogue, Prof. Stella Dimitrova. Under her guidance, Teodora developed a strong foundation in piano technique and musicianship, and began to participate in national and international competitions. In 2006, Teodora won first prize at the International Piano Competition "Young Virtuosos" in Sofia, which marked the beginning of her successful career as a concert pianist. She went on to win numerous awards and prizes at other prestigious competitions, including the International Piano Competition "Citta di Barletta" in Italy, the International Piano Competition "Citta di Marsala" in Italy, and the International Piano Competition "Citta di San Dona di Piave" in Italy. Teodora's talent and dedication to music led her to pursue further studies abroad. In 2010, she was accepted into the Royal Academy of Music in London, where she studied with renowned pianist and pedagogue, Prof. Christopher Elton. During her time at the Academy, Teodora honed her skills and developed her own unique musical voice, which has been described as "sensitive, expressive, and technically flawless." Teodora's performances have been praised for their emotional depth and technical brilliance. She has performed in some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, including the Royal Albert Hall in London, the Carnegie Hall in New York, and the Berlin Philharmonic Hall in Germany. She has also collaborated with some of the world's leading orchestras, including the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. One of Teodora's most memorable performances was at the 2014 International Piano Festival in Moscow, where she performed Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 with the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra. Her performance was met with a standing ovation and critical acclaim, with one reviewer describing it as "a stunning display of virtuosity and musicality." Teodora's dedication to music has also led her to become a passionate educator.
