He also collaborated with renowned conductors such as Herbert von Karajan, Claudio Abbado, and Daniel Barenboim. One of Lorenz's most notable performances was his rendition of Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5, which he performed with the Berlin Philharmonic under the baton of Herbert von Karajan.
