Guro Kleven Hagen is a Norwegian classical violinist who has gained international recognition for her exceptional talent and musicality. Born on May 22, 1985, in Oslo, Norway, Guro grew up in a family of musicians. Her father, Lars Anders Tomter, is a renowned violist, and her mother, Marianne Thorsen, is a violinist. Guro's siblings, Håkon and Mari, are also accomplished musicians. Guro began playing the violin at the age of three, and by the time she was six, she had already performed in public. She studied at the Barratt Due Institute of Music in Oslo, where she received her diploma in 2004. She then went on to study at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hannover, Germany, where she received her Master's degree in 2009. She has also collaborated with renowned conductors such as Mariss Jansons, Esa-Pekka Salonen, and Sakari Oramo. One of Guro's most notable performances was her debut with the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra in 2007, where she performed the Sibelius Violin Concerto.
