Born in France in 1975, Houette showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. He quickly demonstrated a natural talent for the instrument and began taking lessons with some of the best teachers in the country. As a young musician, Houette was drawn to the works of the great composers of the classical era, including Mozart, Beethoven, and Chopin. He spent countless hours studying their music and developing his own unique style of playing. By the time he was a teenager, Houette had already begun performing in public, and his talent was quickly recognized by audiences and critics alike. In 1993, Houette was accepted into the prestigious Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, where he studied under some of the most respected teachers in the world of classical music. During his time at the conservatory, Houette continued to hone his skills and develop his own unique approach to playing the piano. After graduating from the conservatory, Houette began performing professionally, and quickly gained a reputation as one of the most talented and innovative pianists of his generation. He performed in some of the most prestigious concert halls in the world, including Carnegie Hall in New York, the Royal Albert Hall in London, and the Salle Pleyel in Paris. In 2001, he was awarded the prestigious Prix de la Fondation de France, which recognizes outstanding achievement in the arts. He has also been awarded the Grand Prix du Disque, the highest honor in the world of classical music recording. One of the highlights of Houette's career was his performance of Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5 in E-flat major, Op. 73, also known as the "Emperor" concerto. This performance, which took place at the Royal Albert Hall in London, was widely praised by critics and cemented Houette's reputation as one of the greatest pianists of his generation.
