From a young age, Weimer showed a keen interest in music, and his parents encouraged him to pursue his passion. He began playing the piano at the age of five and quickly showed remarkable talent. Weimer's parents recognized his potential and enrolled him in the prestigious Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin. He studied under the tutelage of renowned pianist and teacher, Karl-Heinz Kämmerling. Weimer's talent and dedication to music were evident from the start, and he quickly rose through the ranks to become one of the most promising young pianists of his generation. In 1995, Weimer won the prestigious International Piano Competition in Leeds, UK. This was a significant achievement for the young pianist, and it marked the beginning of a successful career in music. Weimer's performance at the competition was praised for its technical brilliance and emotional depth. He went on to win several other awards and accolades, including the Clara Haskil International Piano Competition in Switzerland in 1997. Weimer's career took off after his success at the Leeds competition. He began performing at major concert halls around the world, including the Royal Albert Hall in London, the Carnegie Hall in New York, and the Berlin Philharmonic. He collaborated with some of the most renowned conductors and orchestras, including the London Symphony Orchestra, the New York Philharmonic, and the Berlin Philharmonic.
