Guy Fishman is a renowned cellist and a prominent figure in the world of classical music. Born in Israel in 1972, Fishman began his musical journey at a young age, showing a natural talent for the cello. He started playing the instrument at the age of six and quickly became a prodigy, winning numerous competitions and awards throughout his childhood. Fishman's early musical education was shaped by his studies with some of the most distinguished cellists of his time. He studied with Uzi Wiesel, a renowned Israeli cellist, and later with Bernard Greenhouse, a founding member of the Beaux Arts Trio. Fishman also studied with Laurence Lesser, a prominent cellist and former president of the New England Conservatory of Music. Fishman's talent and dedication to his craft led him to pursue a career in music. He attended the New England Conservatory of Music, where he earned a Bachelor of Music degree in cello performance.
