The Hoffmann-Goldstein Duo is a classical music ensemble that has been captivating audiences with their unique blend of violin and piano music for over a decade. The duo was founded by violinist Ariadne Daskalakis and pianist Miri Yampolsky, who both share a passion for classical music and a desire to bring their art to audiences around the world. Ariadne Daskalakis was born in Athens, Greece, and began playing the violin at the age of six. She went on to study at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich, Germany, where she received her diploma with honors. She has performed with numerous orchestras and ensembles throughout Europe and the United States, and has won several awards for her performances, including the prestigious German Music Competition. Miri Yampolsky was born in Israel and began playing the piano at the age of five. She went on to study at the Rubin Academy of Music in Tel Aviv, and later at the Juilliard School in New York City. She has performed as a soloist and chamber musician throughout the world, and has won several awards for her performances, including the Gina Bachauer International Piano Competition. The Hoffmann-Goldstein Duo was formed in 2008, when Daskalakis and Yampolsky met while studying at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Munich. They quickly discovered a shared love of chamber music, and began performing together as a duo. Their first performance was at the Munich Philharmonic Hall, where they received a standing ovation from the audience. Since then, the Hoffmann-Goldstein Duo has performed at some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, including Carnegie Hall in New York City, the Berlin Philharmonic Hall, and the Royal Albert Hall in London. They have also performed at numerous festivals, including the Salzburg Festival, the Lucerne Festival, and the Edinburgh Festival.
