Avi Avital is a world-renowned classical music artist who has made a name for himself as a virtuoso mandolin player. Born on April 15, 1978, in Be'er Sheva, Israel, Avital grew up in a musical family and began playing the mandolin at the age of eight. His father was a professional musician who played the guitar, and his mother was a music teacher. Avital's early musical education was focused on classical guitar, but he soon discovered his love for the mandolin. He began studying with the Israeli mandolinist Professor Simcha Nathanson, who introduced him to the classical repertoire for the instrument. Avital quickly became a prodigy, and by the age of 14, he was already performing professionally. In 1999, Avital moved to Italy to study at the Cesare Pollini Conservatory in Padua.
