Øystein Stensheim is a Norwegian classical music artist who has made a name for himself as a conductor, pianist, and composer. Born on May 22, 1975, in Oslo, Norway, Stensheim showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. He went on to study music at the Norwegian Academy of Music in Oslo, where he received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in piano performance. Stensheim's talent as a pianist was quickly recognized, and he began performing in concerts and competitions throughout Norway and Europe. In 1998, he won first prize in the Norwegian National Piano Competition, which led to his debut as a soloist with the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra.
