The Versailles Chamber Orchestra is a renowned classical music ensemble that has been captivating audiences around the world for over 30 years. Founded in 1984 by Bernard Wahl, the orchestra has become known for its exceptional performances of Baroque and Classical music, as well as its commitment to promoting young talent. The orchestra's main members include its conductor and artistic director, Bernard Wahl, as well as a core group of talented musicians who have been with the ensemble for many years. These include violinists Jean-Marc Phillips-Varjabédian and David Braccini, violist Miguel da Silva, cellist Raphaël Pidoux, and double bassist Thierry Barbé. Over the years, the Versailles Chamber Orchestra has performed at some of the world's most prestigious concert halls and festivals, including the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Paris, the Salzburg Festival, and the BBC Proms. One of the highlights of the Versailles Chamber Orchestra's career was its performance at the 1998 Grammy Awards ceremony, where it accompanied soprano Renée Fleming in a stunning rendition of Mozart's "Exsultate, jubilate."
