Jivko Georgiev is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant contribution to the world of music. Born on May 5, 1979, in Sofia, Bulgaria, Jivko showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. His parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue his passion for music. Jivko's musical education began at the National School of Music "Lyubomir Pipkov" in Sofia, where he studied piano and composition. He later continued his studies at the National Academy of Music "Pancho Vladigerov" in Sofia, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Piano Performance and a Master's degree in Chamber Music. During his studies, Jivko participated in numerous competitions and won several awards, including the First Prize at the National Competition for Young Pianists in Bulgaria and the Second Prize at the International Piano Competition "Citta di Marsala" in Italy. After completing his studies, Jivko began his professional career as a pianist and chamber musician. He has performed in numerous concerts and festivals in Bulgaria and abroad, including the Sofia Music Weeks, the International Chamber Music Festival in Plovdiv, the International Festival "Musica Mundi" in Belgium, and the International Festival "Musica in Laguna" in Italy. Jivko has collaborated with many renowned musicians, including the violinist Vesko Eschkenazy, the cellist Alexander Somov, and the clarinetist Yavor Dimitrov. He has also performed with various orchestras, including the Sofia Philharmonic Orchestra, the Plovdiv Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Vidin State Philharmonic Orchestra. One of the highlights of Jivko's career was his performance at the Carnegie Hall in New York in 2012.
