Birth:1990 in Shanghai, ChinaJi Liu is a Chinese-born classical pianist who has gained international recognition for his virtuosic performances and unique interpretations of classical repertoire. Born in Shanghai in 1990, Ji Liu began playing the piano at the age of four and quickly showed a natural talent for the instrument. His parents, both amateur musicians, recognized his potential and encouraged him to pursue a career in music. At the age of nine, Ji Liu was accepted into the prestigious Shanghai Conservatory of Music, where he studied under the renowned pianist and pedagogue Professor Yin Chengzong. Under Professor Yin's guidance, Ji Liu developed a deep understanding of the technical and musical aspects of piano playing, and began to develop his own unique style and interpretation of classical repertoire. In 2005, Ji Liu was awarded a full scholarship to study at the Royal Academy of Music in London, where he continued his studies under the guidance of Professor Christopher Elton. During his time at the Royal Academy, Ji Liu won numerous awards and competitions, including the prestigious Royal Academy of Music Club Prize, which is awarded to the most outstanding student of the year.
