Benjamin Sabey was born on May 12, 1985, in Seattle, Washington. He grew up in a musical family, with both of his parents being professional musicians. His father was a cellist in the Seattle Symphony Orchestra, and his mother was a pianist and music teacher. Sabey began playing the piano at the age of four and showed a natural talent for music.
