The trio consists of three talented musicians, violinist Maria, cellist Antonio, and pianist Luigi, who have been playing together for over a decade. Maria was born in Italy and began playing the violin at the age of five. She showed a natural talent for the instrument and quickly became a prodigy. She studied at the Conservatorio di Musica Giuseppe Verdi in Milan and later at the Juilliard School in New York City. Maria has won numerous awards and competitions, including the prestigious International Violin Competition of Indianapolis. Antonio was born in Spain and started playing the cello at the age of six. He studied at the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía in Madrid and later at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln in Germany. Antonio has won several awards, including the First Prize at the International Cello Competition in Paris. Luigi was born in Italy and began playing the piano at the age of four. He studied at the Conservatorio di Musica Giuseppe Verdi in Milan and later at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln in Germany. Luigi has won several awards, including the First Prize at the International Piano Competition in Geneva. The three musicians met while studying at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Köln and formed Trio Stradivari in 2008. They chose the name in honor of the famous Italian violin maker Antonio Stradivari, whose instruments are considered some of the finest ever made. Trio Stradivari quickly gained a reputation for their exceptional performances and musicality.
