The performance was a huge success, and Le Roy was praised for his technical skill and emotional depth. Over the next few years, Le Roy continued to perform in concerts throughout France and Europe. He also began recording his music, and his recordings quickly became popular among classical music enthusiasts. In 1958, Le Roy was invited to perform at the Edinburgh International Festival in Scotland. The performance was a huge success, and Le Roy was praised for his virtuosity and musicality. In 1960, Le Roy was awarded the Grand Prix du Disque for his recording of Beethoven's Piano Sonata No. 14.
