Roman Puchko was born on May 15, 1985, in Lviv, Ukraine. He grew up in a family of musicians, with his father being a professional violinist and his mother a pianist. From a young age, Puchko showed a natural talent for music and began studying the violin at the age of six. Puchko's early musical education was under the guidance of his father, who taught him the basics of violin technique and music theory. He also attended the Lviv Music School, where he received formal training in classical music. Puchko's talent and dedication to music were evident from an early age, and he quickly became a standout student at the school. In 2003, Puchko was accepted into the Lviv National Music Academy, where he continued his studies under the tutelage of renowned violinist and pedagogue, Oleh Krysa. During his time at the academy, Puchko honed his skills as a violinist and developed a deep understanding of the nuances of classical music. Puchko's talent and hard work paid off when he won first prize at the International Violin Competition in Lviv in 2005. This was a major achievement for the young musician and helped to launch his career as a professional violinist. After completing his studies at the Lviv National Music Academy, Puchko went on to study at the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy in Kyiv, where he received a master's degree in violin performance. During his time in Kyiv, Puchko had the opportunity to work with some of the most renowned violinists in the world, including Zakhar Bron and Viktor Pikayzen. Puchko's career as a professional violinist began to take off in the early 2010s, when he started performing regularly with some of the top orchestras in Ukraine. He quickly gained a reputation as a virtuoso performer with a deep understanding of classical music. One of the highlights of Puchko's career came in 2014 when he was invited to perform at the prestigious International Music Festival in Salzburg, Austria. This was a major achievement for the young musician, as the festival is one of the most important events in the classical music world. Puchko's performance at the Salzburg Festival was widely praised by critics and audiences alike, and he was hailed as one of the most promising young violinists of his generation. This performance helped to cement Puchko's reputation as a rising star in the classical music world. In addition to his performances as a soloist, Puchko has also collaborated with some of the top orchestras in Ukraine and abroad.
