Roman Puchko was born on May 15, 1985, in Lviv, Ukraine. He grew up in a family of musicians, with his father being a professional violinist and his mother a pianist. From a young age, Puchko showed a natural talent for music and began studying the violin at the age of six. Puchko's early musical education was under the guidance of his father, who taught him the basics of violin technique and music theory. He also attended the Lviv Music School, where he received formal training in classical music. Puchko's talent and dedication to music were evident from an early age, and he quickly became a standout student at the school. In 2003, Puchko was accepted into the Lviv National Music Academy, where he continued his studies under the tutelage of renowned violinist and pedagogue, Oleh Krysa. Puchko's talent and hard work paid off when he won first prize at the International Violin Competition in Lviv in 2005.
