However, it was his singing that caught the attention of his music teachers, who encouraged him to pursue a career in music. He went on to study at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester, where he received a Bachelor of Music degree in 1994. After completing his studies, Loges began performing professionally as a baritone singer. He quickly gained a reputation for his powerful voice and his ability to convey emotion through his performances. One of the highlights of Loges' career was his performance in the world premiere of Mark-Anthony Turnage's opera "The Silver Tassie" at the English National Opera in 2000. The opera was based on a play by Sean O'Casey and was a critical success. Loges' performance was particularly praised for his ability to convey the emotional depth of the character he played. Loges has also been recognized for his work in the field of chamber music. He has collaborated with some of the world's most renowned musicians, including pianist Roger Vignoles and cellist Adrian Brendel. He has taught at several music schools, including the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama and the Royal Academy of Music in London.
