Benjamin Hutto is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant impact in the world of music. He was born on December 17, 1975, in Columbia, South Carolina, to a family of musicians. His father was a music professor, and his mother was a pianist. From a young age, Hutto was exposed to music and developed a passion for it. Hutto began his musical journey by learning to play the piano at the age of five. He showed exceptional talent and was soon performing in public. He continued to hone his skills and went on to study music at the University of South Carolina. He graduated with a Bachelor of Music degree in Piano Performance in 1998. After completing his undergraduate studies, Hutto pursued further education in music. He earned a Master of Music degree in Piano Performance from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music in 2000. He then went on to earn a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Piano Performance from the University of South Carolina in 2005. Throughout his education, Hutto received numerous awards and accolades for his musical talent. He was a winner of the South Carolina Music Teachers Association Piano Competition, the Southeastern Piano Festival, and the University of South Carolina Concerto Competition. He was also a finalist in the Hilton Head International Piano Competition and the MTNA National Piano Competition. Hutto's talent and hard work paid off, and he began to establish himself as a prominent classical music artist. He has performed as a soloist with many orchestras, including the South Carolina Philharmonic, the Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra, and the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. He has also given recitals in prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, and the Royal Academy of Music in London. One of Hutto's most notable performances was his debut with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra in 2000. He performed Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2, which received critical acclaim.
