His parents, who were both music enthusiasts, encouraged him to pursue his passion for music, and he began taking formal lessons at the age of eight. He won his first piano competition at the age of ten and went on to win several more competitions throughout his teenage years. Rufa's talent and hard work earned him a scholarship to study at the prestigious Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia in Rome, where he studied under the guidance of renowned pianist and teacher, Sergio Perticaroli. During his time at the Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia, Rufa honed his skills and developed a deep understanding of classical music. He also had the opportunity to perform in several concerts and recitals, which helped him gain valuable experience and exposure. Rufa's performances were always well-received, and he quickly gained a reputation as a talented and passionate musician. After completing his studies at the Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia, Rufa continued to pursue his passion for music and began performing professionally.
