Dinos Hadjiiordanou is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant contribution to the world of music. Born on 22nd June 1985 in Nicosia, Cyprus, Dinos showed an interest in music from a young age. His parents were both music enthusiasts, and they encouraged him to pursue his passion for music. Dinos began his musical journey by learning to play the piano at the age of six. He showed remarkable talent and dedication, and his parents decided to enroll him in a music school. Dinos attended the Cyprus State Conservatory, where he studied piano, music theory, and harmony. He also took private lessons with renowned pianists, including Kyriacos Kyriacou and Nicolas Costantinou. Dinos's talent and hard work paid off when he won his first piano competition at the age of ten. He continued to participate in various competitions and festivals, winning several awards and accolades. In 2001, he won first prize at the International Piano Competition in Thessaloniki, Greece. This was a significant achievement for Dinos, as it was his first international competition. After completing his studies at the Cyprus State Conservatory, Dinos moved to the United Kingdom to further his musical education. He enrolled at the Royal Academy of Music in London, where he studied under the guidance of renowned pianist Christopher Elton. Dinos also took masterclasses with other renowned pianists, including Murray Perahia, András Schiff, and Stephen Kovacevich. During his time at the Royal Academy of Music, Dinos continued to participate in various competitions and festivals. In 2007, he won first prize at the Beethoven Piano Society of Europe's Intercollegiate Piano Competition. He also won the Royal Academy of Music's prestigious Chappell Gold Medal in 2008, which is awarded to the most outstanding pianist of the year. He has performed at the Wigmore Hall, the Royal Festival Hall, and the Barbican Centre in London. He has also performed in other countries, including Greece, Italy, Germany, and the United States.
