Born on May 22, 1985, in Vilnius, Lithuania, Geniusas showed an early aptitude for music and began studying piano at the age of six. His parents, both professional musicians, recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue a career in music. Geniusas studied at the National M.K. Ciurlionis School of Arts in Vilnius, where he received a rigorous education in classical piano technique and repertoire. He also participated in numerous competitions and festivals, winning several awards and accolades for his performances. In 2003, he was awarded first prize at the International Balys Dvarionas Piano Competition in Vilnius, which launched his career as a professional pianist.
