Anthony Howard was born on May 12, 1985, in London, England. He grew up in a family of musicians, with his father being a renowned pianist and his mother a violinist. From a young age, Howard showed a keen interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Howard's parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue a career in music. He began taking formal piano lessons at the age of six and quickly progressed, winning his first competition at the age of eight. By the time he was a teenager, Howard had already performed in several prestigious venues, including the Royal Albert Hall and the Barbican Centre. In 2003, Howard was accepted into the Royal Academy of Music in London, where he studied under the tutelage of renowned pianist Joanna MacGregor. The concert was a huge success, with Howard receiving rave reviews for his performance of Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 5. Over the years, Howard has received numerous awards and accolades for his work as a pianist. In 2012, he was awarded the prestigious Royal Philharmonic Society Young Artist Award, which recognizes outstanding young musicians in the UK. He has also been a finalist in several international piano competitions, including the Leeds International Piano Competition and the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. In addition to his work as a performer, Howard is also a dedicated teacher and mentor. He has taught piano at several music schools and conservatories, including the Royal Academy of Music and the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
