Sinfonia Viva is a classical music ensemble based in Derby, England. The group was founded in 1982 by conductor and composer Malcolm Nabarro, who served as the ensemble's artistic director until his death in 2010. Since then, the group has been led by conductor and composer André de Ridder. The ensemble's core members are a group of highly skilled musicians who specialize in performing classical music from a wide range of eras and styles. These musicians include violinists Benedict Holland and Sophie Rosa, cellist Nicholas Trygstad, and pianist Tom Poster, among others.
