Karolina Kantelinen is a Finnish classical music artist who has made a name for herself as a pianist and composer. Born on May 5, 1985, in Helsinki, Finland, Kantelinen showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of six. Her parents, both musicians, recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. Kantelinen's early musical education was at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, where she studied under the tutelage of renowned pianist and composer Eero Heinonen.
