Ramallah Underground is a Palestinian music group that was formed in 2003. The group consists of two members, Boikutt and Stormtrap, who are both from Ramallah, Palestine. The group's music is a fusion of traditional Palestinian music and modern electronic beats. Boikutt and Stormtrap both grew up in Ramallah and were exposed to music at a young age. Boikutt's father was a musician and he grew up listening to traditional Palestinian music. Stormtrap was also interested in music from a young age and started playing the guitar when he was a teenager. The two met in 2003 and started collaborating on music. They were both interested in creating a new sound that combined traditional Palestinian music with modern electronic beats. They started experimenting with different sounds and instruments and eventually came up with their own unique sound. Ramallah Underground's music is a reflection of the Palestinian experience. Their music is political and addresses issues such as occupation, oppression, and resistance. They use their music as a tool to raise awareness about the Palestinian cause and to express their own experiences as Palestinians. One of the highlights of Ramallah Underground's career was their performance at the Palestine Festival of Literature in 2008.
