Grigory Stolarov was born on May 15, 1985, in Moscow, Russia. He was born into a family of musicians, with his father being a renowned pianist and his mother a violinist. From a young age, Stolarov showed a natural talent for music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Stolarov's parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue a career in music. He began taking piano lessons with his father and quickly progressed, winning his first competition at the age of six. Stolarov continued to study with his father until the age of 14 when he was accepted into the Moscow Conservatory. At the Moscow Conservatory, Stolarov studied under the tutelage of renowned pianist and teacher, Sergei Dorensky. Under Dorensky's guidance, Stolarov honed his skills and developed a deep understanding of classical music. He quickly gained recognition for his talent and was invited to perform at various concerts and festivals. In 2005, Stolarov won first prize at the International Piano Competition in Santander, Spain. This was a major milestone in his career and opened up many opportunities for him. He was invited to perform at some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, including Carnegie Hall in New York and the Royal Albert Hall in London. Stolarov's performances were always highly anticipated, and he never failed to impress his audiences. His technical skill and emotional depth were unmatched, and he quickly became known as one of the most talented pianists of his generation. In 2010, Stolarov released his debut album, which featured works by Chopin, Liszt, and Rachmaninoff. The album was a critical and commercial success, and Stolarov was praised for his interpretation of the pieces. He went on to release several more albums, each one showcasing his incredible talent and versatility. Throughout his career, Stolarov has received numerous awards and accolades. In 2012, he was awarded the Order of Friendship by the Russian government for his contributions to the arts. He has also been awarded the prestigious Tchaikovsky Prize and the International Classical Music Award. Despite his success, Stolarov remains humble and dedicated to his craft.
