William Rohdin was born on May 12, 1985, in Stockholm, Sweden. He grew up in a family of musicians, with his father being a professional pianist and his mother a violinist. From a young age, Rohdin showed a natural talent for music and began playing the piano at the age of four. Rohdin's parents recognized his potential and encouraged him to pursue music seriously. He began taking piano lessons with his father and later studied at the Royal College of Music in Stockholm. He also attended masterclasses with renowned pianists such as Martha Argerich and Vladimir Ashkenazy. Rohdin's talent and hard work paid off when he won several prestigious competitions, including the Nordic Piano Competition and the International Edvard Grieg Piano Competition. These victories launched his career and led to invitations to perform with major orchestras around the world. One of Rohdin's most memorable performances was at the Royal Albert Hall in London, where he played Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 2 with the London Symphony Orchestra. The concert received rave reviews, with critics praising Rohdin's technical skill and emotional depth. Rohdin's repertoire is vast and includes works by Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt, and many other composers. He is particularly known for his interpretations of the music of Rachmaninoff, whose complex and emotional compositions require a high level of technical skill and sensitivity. In addition to his performances, Rohdin is also a dedicated teacher and mentor.
