Saro Lorefice is a classical music artist who has made a name for himself in the world of opera. Born in Catania, Italy in 1985, Lorefice showed an early interest in music and began studying piano at the age of six. He later went on to study singing at the Conservatory of Music in Catania, where he received his diploma in 2007. After completing his studies, Lorefice began performing in various operas throughout Italy. He quickly gained a reputation for his powerful voice and dynamic stage presence, and soon began receiving invitations to perform in other countries as well. One of Lorefice's most notable performances came in 2010, when he was invited to sing the role of Don José in a production of Carmen at the Royal Opera House in London. The performance was a huge success, and Lorefice received rave reviews for his portrayal of the tormented soldier. In the years that followed, Lorefice continued to perform in operas throughout Europe and beyond. He sang the role of Radamès in a production of Aida at the Teatro alla Scala in Milan, and performed in productions of La Traviata, Tosca, and Rigoletto at various other venues. In 2012, he was awarded the prestigious Premio Abbiati, which is given annually to the best Italian opera singer of the year.
