Nadja Stefanoff is a renowned classical music artist who has made a significant impact in the world of music. Born on May 12, 1985, in Sofia, Bulgaria, Nadja showed an early interest in music and began playing the piano at the age of five. Her parents, both musicians, recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. Nadja's early years were spent in Bulgaria, where she received her first formal music education. She attended the National School of Music "Lyubomir Pipkov" in Sofia, where she studied piano under the guidance of Professor Milena Mollova. During her time at the school, Nadja participated in numerous competitions and won several awards, including first prize at the National Piano Competition "Svetoslav Obretenov" in 1998. In 2001, Nadja moved to Vienna, Austria, to continue her music education. She enrolled at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, where she studied piano with Professor Stefan Vladar. Nadja's talent and dedication quickly caught the attention of her professors, and she was awarded several scholarships and prizes, including the prestigious "Lilli Lehmann Medal" in 2005. Throughout her studies, Nadja continued to participate in competitions and concerts, both in Austria and abroad. In 2003, she won first prize at the International Piano Competition "Citta di Barletta" in Italy, and in 2006, she was a finalist at the International Piano Competition "Ferruccio Busoni" in Bolzano, Italy. After completing her studies in Vienna, Nadja embarked on a successful career as a concert pianist. She has performed in some of the world's most prestigious concert halls, including the Musikverein in Vienna, the Konzerthaus Berlin, and the Carnegie Hall in New York. Her performances have been praised for their technical brilliance, musicality, and emotional depth. Nadja's repertoire is vast and includes works by some of the greatest composers in history, such as Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt, and Rachmaninoff. She is particularly known for her interpretations of the works of Franz Schubert, whose music she has studied extensively. In addition to her solo performances, Nadja has also collaborated with numerous orchestras and chamber ensembles. She has worked with conductors such as Zubin Mehta, Daniel Barenboim, and Riccardo Muti, and has performed with orchestras such as the Vienna Philharmonic, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
