Jeremy Brown was born on May 15, 1985, in London, England. He grew up in a family of musicians, with his father being a renowned classical pianist and his mother a violinist. From a young age, Jeremy showed a keen interest in music and began playing the violin at the age of four. Jeremy's parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue a career in music. He attended the Royal Academy of Music in London, where he studied under some of the most renowned violinists in the world. During his time at the academy, Jeremy won several awards and competitions, including the prestigious Royal Academy of Music Bach Prize. After completing his studies, Jeremy began performing professionally, quickly establishing himself as one of the most talented young violinists in the world. He made his debut with the London Symphony Orchestra at the age of 21, performing Mendelssohn's Violin Concerto to critical acclaim. Over the years, Jeremy has performed with some of the world's most renowned orchestras, including the New York Philharmonic, the Berlin Philharmonic, and the Vienna Philharmonic. He has also collaborated with some of the most celebrated conductors of our time, including Sir Simon Rattle, Daniel Barenboim, and Riccardo Muti. One of the highlights of Jeremy's career was his performance at the 2012 Proms, where he played the solo violin part in Beethoven's Violin Concerto. The performance was hailed as a triumph, with critics praising Jeremy's virtuosity and musicality. In addition to his work as a soloist, Jeremy is also a dedicated chamber musician. He has performed with some of the world's most renowned chamber ensembles, including the Emerson String Quartet and the Guarneri Quartet. He is also a founding member of the Brown Quartet, which has received critical acclaim for its innovative programming and virtuosic performances. Jeremy's recordings have also received widespread acclaim. His recording of the Brahms Violin Concerto with the Berlin Philharmonic, conducted by Sir Simon Rattle, was named "Recording of the Year" by Gramophone magazine in 2015. He has also recorded several albums of chamber music, including a critically acclaimed recording of the complete Beethoven String Quartets with the Brown Quartet. Throughout his career, Jeremy has received numerous awards and honors. He has also been awarded the Order of the British Empire for his services to music.
