This performance was a huge success, and Christiane quickly became known as one of Denmark's most promising young singers. Since then, Christiane has performed in numerous operas and concerts around the world, including in Germany, Austria, Italy, and the United States. Some of her most notable performances include her portrayal of Susanna in Mozart's "The Marriage of Figaro" at the Bavarian State Opera in Munich and her performance as Micaëla in Bizet's "Carmen" at the Royal Danish Opera. In addition to her opera performances, Christiane is also a sought-after concert singer, performing in recitals and concerts with orchestras around the world. She has worked with some of the most renowned conductors, including Sir Simon Rattle, Daniel Barenboim, and Zubin Mehta. Throughout her career, Christiane has received numerous awards and accolades for her exceptional talent as a soprano singer. In 2014, she was awarded the prestigious Léonie Sonning Music Prize, which is considered one of the most significant music awards in Denmark.
