Breda Mayock was born on June 12, 1985, in Dublin, Ireland. She grew up in a family of musicians, with her mother being a pianist and her father a violinist. From a young age, Mayock showed a natural talent for music and began playing the violin at the age of four. Mayock's parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue a career in music. She began taking private lessons with renowned violinists in Ireland and quickly gained a reputation as a prodigy. At the age of 12, Mayock was accepted into the Royal Irish Academy of Music, where she studied under the tutelage of Professor John O'Connor.
