Ju-Young Baek is a renowned classical music artist who has made a name for herself in the world of music. Born on December 31, 1984, in Seoul, South Korea, Ju-Young Baek showed an early interest in music. Her parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue her passion for music. At the age of five, she began playing the violin and quickly showed a natural aptitude for the instrument. Ju-Young Baek's parents enrolled her in the Yewon School, a prestigious music school in Seoul, where she received her early musical training. She continued her studies at the Seoul Arts High School, where she was a student of Professor Nam Yun Kim. During her time at the Seoul Arts High School, Ju-Young Baek won numerous awards and competitions, including the Grand Prize at the Korean Music Association Competition and the First Prize at the Ewha-Kyunghyang Competition. In 2003, Ju-Young Baek moved to the United States to further her musical education. She enrolled at the Juilliard School in New York City, where she studied with Professor Cho-Liang Lin. During her time at Juilliard, Ju-Young Baek won several awards, including the Juilliard Concerto Competition and the Juilliard Chamber Music Competition. Ju-Young Baek's talent and hard work paid off when she won the First Prize at the 2005 Michael Hill International Violin Competition in New Zealand.
