Carla Antoun is a renowned classical music artist who has made a name for herself in the world of music. Born on May 12, 1985, in Beirut, Lebanon, Carla was raised in a family that had a deep appreciation for music. Her father was a music teacher, and her mother was a pianist, which meant that Carla was exposed to music from a very young age. Carla's love for music started when she was just five years old. She would often sit and listen to her mother play the piano, and she was fascinated by the sounds that the instrument could produce. Carla's parents recognized her talent and encouraged her to pursue music. They enrolled her in piano lessons, and she quickly showed a natural aptitude for the instrument. As Carla grew older, her passion for music continued to grow. She started to explore other instruments, including the violin and the cello. She also began to study music theory and composition, which helped her to develop a deeper understanding of music. In 2003, Carla was accepted into the Lebanese National Higher Conservatory of Music, where she studied piano performance under the guidance of renowned pianist and composer, Ziad Kreidy. During her time at the conservatory, Carla honed her skills and developed a unique style that would set her apart from other classical musicians. After graduating from the conservatory, Carla began to perform in concerts and recitals throughout Lebanon. Her performances were well-received, and she quickly gained a reputation as a talented and passionate musician. In 2007, Carla was invited to perform at the prestigious Beiteddine Festival, which is one of the most important cultural events in Lebanon. Her performance was a huge success, and it helped to establish her as one of the top classical musicians in the country. In 2008, Carla was awarded a scholarship to study at the Royal Academy of Music in London. This was a huge opportunity for Carla, as the Royal Academy of Music is one of the most prestigious music schools in the world. During her time at the academy, Carla studied under the guidance of renowned pianist, Joanna MacGregor. She also had the opportunity to perform in some of the most prestigious concert halls in London, including the Royal Albert Hall and the Wigmore Hall. After graduating from the Royal Academy of Music, Carla returned to Lebanon and continued to perform in concerts and recitals. She also started to teach music, passing on her knowledge and passion to the next generation of musicians. In 2015, Carla was invited to perform at the Dubai Opera House, which was a huge honor for her. The Dubai Opera House is one of the most prestigious concert halls in the world, and it was a testament to Carla's talent and hard work that she was invited to perform there. Over the years, Carla has received numerous awards and accolades for her contributions to classical music. In 2017, she was awarded the Lebanese National Order of Merit, which is one of the highest honors that can be bestowed upon a Lebanese citizen. She has also been recognized by the Lebanese Ministry of Culture for her contributions to the arts. Today, Carla continues to perform in concerts and recitals around the world. She is also a dedicated teacher, passing on her knowledge and passion to the next generation of musicians.
